What is H3 Max, and who made it?+
H3 Max is fal's post-trained variant of the open-weight MiniMax H3 base model. H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo are fal-hosted endpoints with their own tuning, speed, settings, and pricing; h3max.site is an independent third-party interface.
How fast is H3 Max?+
fal publishes roughly three seconds of wall time for a five-second 768P clip on its optimized inference stack. Treat that as a published reference point, not a guarantee: queue time, prompt expansion, uploads, provider load, and retries can change the elapsed time.
Does H3 Max generate audio?+
Yes. H3 Max can generate synchronized dialogue, ambience, sound effects, and music with the video. Review pronunciation, lip sync, timing, and rights before publishing; generated audio is not a promise of a perfect final mix.
What inputs and settings are supported?+
Text-to-video accepts a prompt. Image-to-video accepts a start image and optional end image. H3 Max reference-to-video accepts image, video, and audio references. Jobs run for 5–15 seconds at 480P or 768P; text routes support 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, and 9:16.
How many credits does a generation use?+
Credit usage is duration multiplied by the selected rate: Turbo is 10 credits/sec at 480P or 15 at 768P; H3 Max is 20 at 480P or 30 at 768P. Reference-to-video includes 4,096 reference tokens, then charges 8 credits per started 1,000-token block.
What happens when a generation fails?+
The service reserves the estimated credits before submitting an asynchronous job. If the request or provider task fails or is cancelled, unused reserved credits are released according to the settlement record in your account. Check Video History and the credit ledger if a balance looks unexpected.
Can I use generated videos commercially?+
Commercial use depends on the current fal terms, the media you upload, and any third-party likeness, voice, music, or brand rights in your prompt. Only submit assets you are authorized to use and review the provider terms for the exact endpoint.
Are my uploads private, and is this the official MiniMax website?+
h3max.site is not the official MiniMax or fal website. It is an independent third-party interface. Do not upload confidential material unless your own contract, the provider terms, and the site privacy policy allow that workflow.
